For over a decade, Suzume Jujo (Kazama Shunsuke) has lived a love-less life.
A solitary office worker, his days are a monotonous shuffle between his apartment and the office. Years of living alone have made him self-sufficient in every way—but also emotionally numb. Now, with just three months left before turning 40, an uneasy feeling begins to creep into his quiet routine: a vague, inescapable fear… of time slipping away.

One day, on a whim, he scribbles down a secret list:
“10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40.”
A personal mission, meant for no one’s eyes but his own.
Until fate steps in.

Tanaka Keiji (Shouji Kouhei)—a charming, confident subordinate ten years his junior—accidentally discovers the list. Caught off guard, Suzume braces for embarrassment. But instead, Tanaka offers something unexpected:

“Why don’t we do them together?”

And so begins a quiet revolution in Suzume’s life.
As the two set out to tick off each item, from the whimsical to the heartfelt, laughter returns to Suzume’s world—and so does something deeper. Gradually, a bond forms between them—shifting, deepening—blurring the lines of age and workplace roles.

This is a slow-blooming office romance, where a withered heart finds warmth in the most unexpected companion:
A vibrant junior with a decade’s difference, and maybe… a shared future.
