Popular Serizawa Acts Weird Around Me (陽キャ集団), starring Shisaka Ryoto and Kosaku Koizumi, is adapted from Yuzu Tsubaki’s novel Serizawa, Who’s Part of the Popular Group, Acts Weird When He’s Around Me.

From the team behind School Trip, the story follows a fudanshi who secretly writes a BL story inspired by the most popular boy at school. He keeps both his hobby and his writing hidden, believing no one will ever discover them.

However, everything changes when the boy he has been writing about ends up reading the story. Rather than reacting negatively, the popular student unexpectedly asks him out, turning his quiet school life upside down.

Based on a premise that blends comedy, school life, and romance, the series explores what happens when fiction and reality suddenly collide.

Popular Serizawa Acts Weird Around Me premieres on August 10.
