🇯🇵 Historical Film “Honō Kagayohe” Announces Cast and Theme Song Ahead of April 3 Release

The upcoming Japanese period film “Honō Kagayohe” (#炎かがよへ) has officially announced additional cast members, including Shota Totsuka, who will portray the legendary warlord Oda Nobunaga, and Yoshitaka Hara, who will showcase dynamic sword-fighting scenes.

Alongside the announcement, the production has released a poster visual and 16 new still images, offering a deeper look into the film’s atmosphere and characters.

Set during Japan’s turbulent Sengoku period—a time rife with strategy, deception, and political intrigue—the film explores the question of what is truly worth believing in and protecting amid chaos.

The movie stars Towa Araki in the lead role, and its theme song, “Honō Kagayohe,” will be performed by Apollon.

“Honō Kagayohe” is scheduled for nationwide release in Japan on April 3.
