| Synopsis : A young Westerner is discovered naked on a riverbank in a remote region of Southern China. When he awakens, he is unable to speak—trapped in silence, disoriented, yet strangely calm. At his bedside is Jiang, a nursing assistant with whom he shares an immediate and inexplicable sense of familiarity.Fearing the man will be sent to a mental asylum, Jiang intervenes. He takes him away from the authorities and brings him to his uncle’s village, offering refuge without fully understanding why. As time passes and fragments of the past slowly surface, Jiang begins to realize that the man’s muteness is deeply connected to someone Jiang once loved with his whole heart.
