Mokudai Kazuto (Genjibu) and Oku Tomoya will star in the live-action adaptation of You Are in the Blue Summer (君は夏のなか), based on the popular manga by Nagisa Furuya.

The story follows two high school students, Wataru and Chiharu, who share a love for cinema. During summer break, they set out on a trip to visit various filming locations. As they spend more time together throughout the journey, the distance between them gradually closes, and they begin to develop feelings for one another.

You Are in the Blue Summer is a youthful love story that blends both bittersweet and radiant moments, capturing the emotions of first love during an unforgettable summer.

The series will premiere on TV Tokyo on July 1, with early streaming on U-NEXT beginning June 24.
